چکیده

The molecular imprinting technique is a quickly developing field of interest regarding the synthesis artificial recognition elements that enable specific determination target molecule/analyte from matrix. Recently, these smart materials can be successfully applied to biomolecule detection in biomimetic biosensors. These biosensors contain biorecognition element (a bioreceptor) and transducer, like their biosensor analogs. Here, basic difference imprinting-based use synthetic element. Molecular polymers used as platforms are complementary shape, size, binding sites, functionality template analytes. Recent progress biomolecular has supplied extra diagnostic treatment methods for various diseases. Cost-effective, more robust, high-throughput assays needed monitoring biomarkers clinical settings. Quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) promising tools real-time quick biomolecules past two decades A quick, simple-to-use, cheap technology based on been developed. This critical review presents current applications quartz quantification disease results.

Molecular Imprinting Technology in Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) Sensors

Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) as artificial antibodies have received considerable scientific attention in the past years in the field of (bio)sensors since they have unique features that distinguish them from natural antibodies such as robustness, multiple binding sites, low cost, facile preparation and high stability under extreme operation conditions (higher pH and temperature values,...

A quartz crystal microbalance-based molecular ruler for biopolymers.

We developed a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) based molecular ruler that measures the length of surface immobilized, hydrated biopolymers (DNA and proteins). These biopolymers acted as stakes that solidified surrounding liquid at high frequency vibration in QCM measurements, which led to a simple linear frequency-thickness relation.

Fluorous-based carbohydrate quartz crystal microbalance.

Fluorous chemistry has brought many applications from catalysis to separation science, from supramolecular materials to analytical chemistry. However, fluorous-based quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) has not been reported so far. In the current paper, fluorous interaction has been firstly utilized in QCM, and carbohydrate-protein interaction and carbohydrate-carbohydrate interaction have been d...

Quartz crystal microbalance based on torsional piezoelectric resonators.

A quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) is described, which is based on a torsional resonator, rather than a conventional thickness-shear resonator. Typical applications are measurements of film thickness in the coating industry and monitoring of biofouling. The torsional QCM is about a factor of 100 less sensitive than the conventional QCM. On the other hand, it can probe film thicknesses in the r...
